europe.

i've been a naughty boy, neglecting this journal. i have a good reason, though. i've been, and continue to remain, in europe with jonathan. we arrived in england a little over a week ago, and yes, we were there when the bombing happened. we ended up cutting our time there short, feeling it was the best thing to do. it's still a little weird having to associate that to my england visit, because obviously, that's not something you expect when you go on vacation. but yeah.

we've been in austria for the past few days, and it's been absolutely amazing. we've done a few tours, and actually rented a car and just drove around. there's something incredible about foreign countries, i don't know what it is. maybe it's just when you're a kid, you dream of traveling the world, and you see pictures. you can tell there's something different. maybe it's that acknowledgment of finally feeling the difference, even if it's unclear.

a month ago, i would have never expected that i'd be riding around with jonathan in a beautiful country. or even three weeks ago. having him show me some of his favorite places in the world has just been awesome. i'm enjoying this experience on a couple different levels. i can honestly say i don't want it to end. it's horrible, though; i've gotten used to his constant company. i don't usually have someone around all of the time to aggravate or hold.

later on today, we're going to germany. i think he has a lot planned for us to do there, and i'm definitely looking forward to it all. he continues to surprise me. i can't begin to describe how lucky i feel to have him share all of this with me.
